Nestled in the charming town of Babylon, Thai Station Cafe offers a delightful escape for lovers of authentic Thai flavors. The restaurant, praised for its inviting ambiance and attentive service, has quickly garnered rave reviews from satisfied diners. Guests consistently mention the well-curated menu, featuring highlights such as the creamy Thai iced tea, crispy Crab Rangoons, and the rich, flavor-packed Tom Yum soup, which is surprisingly more robust than expected for a "mild" dish. One standout dish is the Drunken Noodles with beef, celebrated for its perfectly cooked noodles that soak in the savory essence of the sauce. The variety of rice dishes, like Basil Fried Rice and Pineapple Fried Rice, also entice patrons with their vibrant ingredients and satisfying portions, all reasonably priced at US$22. Reviewers appreciate the personal touch brought by the owners, who hail from Michelin-starred backgrounds and are committed to creating a memorable dining experience. While some feedback noted a slight lack of coordination in service, the warmth and friendliness of staff shine through, making guests feel at home. With plans for a bar and an expanding menu, Thai Station Cafe is poised to be a local gem worth revisiting. Don’t miss the desserts; both the pumpkin pie and fried bananas with ice cream provide a sweet conclusion to your meal.

This restaurant is really great. It has great curb appeal, and the dining room is beautifully decorated. Our diner was nothing but perfect. The service was so good. Our server explained some of the dishes that we weren't familiar with and kept checking on us. I had Tai ice tea and the salmon rice dish. We ordered beef with noodles, a crab dish, and a veggie with shrimp roll. I'm not using the correct names for dishes because I really don't remember, but I assure you this is a place to try. The food was outstanding. We also ordered 2 desserts, too pumpkin pie and fried banana with ice cream. Both were delicious. It's located right by the deer park train station. We easily found parking. Will definitely come back.

Really enjoyed our first time at Thai Station Cafe! The food was so delicious!! The staff was very friendly, service just felt a little uncoordinated. Will definitely be back, there are so many dishes I want to try! (Photos include chicken satay, chicken pad thai, and sweet and sour chicken)

Thai Station Cafe Review If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors with a cozy vibe, Thai Station Cafe is a must-visit! Here’s what I tried: Thai Iced Tea — So creamy and refreshing, the perfect start! Crab Rangoons — Absolutely delicious! The wonton was thin, crispy, and packed with a generous crab filling. The Thai chili sauce was a tasty touch, slightly salty but still amazing. Tom Yum Soup (Mild) — Loaded with mushrooms and veggies, this soup had a bold kick! It was a bit spicier than I expected for mild, but I loved the rich flavors. A few noodles would have made it even better! Drunken Noodles with Beef — Chef’s kiss! The noodles were perfectly flat and soaked up all that savory, spicy goodness. Definitely a highlight! Dessert Surprise — The sweetest part? The owners, who are originally from Thailand, treated us to ice cream! They shared their inspiring journey from working in Michelin-starred NYC restaurants to opening their own spot. Such a lovely personal touch! Overall Experience: 10/10 — From the amazing food to the warm hospitality, I’m already planning my next visit. Bonus points for the full bar — perfect for date night or a fun evening out!

The owners and their son are the best! Loved finding this little gem. The food is authentic and to die for. You can tell them put so much thought into every aspect of this restaurant. I love to see it. Can’t wait to come back for more Thai. Best Thai food on long island! And I cannot wait to try one of the owners cocktails! So excited to hear they got their liquor license!

Highly, highly recommend this little Cafe by the Babylon Rr! Excellent food, wonderfully-flavored. This is NOT the "Thai" food you get from you local Chinese/Japanese/Thai/etc place. This is real Thai food with wonderfully-layered flavors. (I enjoyed my meal so much that I ordered some more dishes to bring home to my Honey!) The Thai tea was the best I've had to date. (I love that it was served in a pretty cocktail glass.) The coconut juice, suggested by my server, Chris, was refreshing and delicious. I think I have a new hot-weather favorite (non-alcoholic) beverage! Nice, elegant ambiance. Quick service and attentiveness. Chris had excellent suggestions and really seemed to love sharing his cafe's cuisine with folks who appreciate good food. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again. A little gem of a place!
